Scope: Combine two small existing spaces into one 890 s.f. podiatrist practice. Goal: Design the most efficient space within an extremely short time limit and tight budgetary constraints. Challenge: Adapt an existing practice, which occupied 1,200 s.f. into a much smaller space and include flexibility for future expansion. Solution: By observing and understanding all facets of this particular practice and the physician’s habits, we streamlined the design, which resulted in the smallest and most efficient space we have ever designed without compromising either patient care or privacy.
